I learned a long time ago that the only way that you can learn in life is through experience. There are many lessons that each decision we make can serve to teach us. So why not take that lesson to the next level? If we can learn from our own experience, why can’t we learn from other people’s experiences?
The vision of Be a Smart Woman has been a dream of mine for at least 15 years, but something continually held me back. It wasn’t until I had a conversation with a good friend where she challenged me to stop being afraid and just go for it. That challenge is what Be A Smart Woman is all about— just going for it.
Be A Smart Woman’s focus is to showcase everyone’s unique natural beauty, inside and out. We are a movement committed to sharing our areas of expertise with other women so that together we can grow and expand our wisdom. What we sometimes fail to realize in the midst of the craziness of our everyday lives, are all of the lessons we can learn from others.
I want to bring women together so that we can all realize that everyone has a story; everyone struggles; everyone deserves a chance to grow, and I believe that we can do that together.
